I'm actually....ready for it. Though I'm now going as Namine instead of Hojo for several reasons.

1 - My hair won't go Hojo on me. My hair is quite like Namine's.
2 - No shoes for Hojo. Passable shoes for Nam.
3 - Bez JUST HAPPENED to have a white summerdress in my size she didn't want.

So this afternoon I spent two hours watching Pride and Prejudice and turning a v necked dress with spaghetti straps into a straight across with thick straps.

YAY

Also, because I had nothing better to do, I copied some of the drawings in her room into my sketchbook as a prop. That was a labour of love as that room creeps me out ¬¬

Now I'm not so panicky about the whole expo seeing as costume is DONE, although I might take the dress in a bit (if I can work how to feasibly do that, as it's got a zip up the side so I can't really do much there) so it's a bit more fitted like hers is.

FINALLY! I felt so tired today. I actually tried to fall asleep in mum's office.

...And yet, here I am at half 11. Shows my smarts.

Life is generally being manageable, which is great, though also half term = v big drain on teh cash front. Woe. Though yay.

OMG EXPO! Yay! Hopefully convincing more people to go! Don't wanna be the only one in mah group in cosplay

Speaking of Cosplay...Lucrecia has currently...died. As in I never got round to making that costume. So Hojo it is. Though I don't actually have everything I need for that. Nothing too onerous, but stuff I'll probs forget about.

Hair....yeah. That's going to be hell. I mean, everything else is not aaaassss necessary, but the hair. Ah. I can't get it to work so great, and can't afford wig. Suspect shall have to suck up to friends.

In other news, I’ve started writing fic again! Yay! The plot bunnies died over the summer hols, but now they’re back in full force (to think I actually missed them)! The trouble is they’re for NEW fics, not the ones I want to finish damnit.

I did manage to finish one this week, and all it needs is a last onceover by me as it’s been ripped apart by my LOVELY team of betas.
